FREE CLASSES FOR FURLOUGHED GOVERNMENT WORKERS.
If you have been furloughed from your job due to the government shutdown, we are offering up to 3 free yoga classes for you.
Attend any class from Tuesday through Sunday without charge. No experience necessary.
Yoga will help you to relax, de-stress, and feel more limber, stretched, balanced, and strong.
Please wear loose comfortable clothing, refrain from eating two hours before class, and if you have one, bring a yoga mat. (We have a few for use in the studio if you don’t have one).
Please bring your government ID with you.

After reading about the need for practical items for those in shelters or homeless, we stepped up and made it happen! With an outpouring of generosity and compassion, the we were able to assemble 40+ purses and totes and filled them with donated items such as soap, shampoo, socks, scarves, deodorants, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and even snacks such as Clif Bars and juice boxes. On Monday, December 21st, we delivered our “men’s bags” to the St. Malachy shelter on Washington Avenue downtown and our “women’s bags” to the Salvation Army’s well-protected women’s and children’s shelter downtown. Once a quarter, we offer our current students the opportunity to bring a friend to any class during that week. This quarter, it is Saturday, August 8th through Saturday August 15th. Bring a friend to any class and both your session and your friend’s is no charge. If you want to attend a class during that week (and are not coming as a guest of another student), we will honor that too! Remember to bring a mat, arrive a few minutes early to fill out the registration form (or bring one with you) and don’t eat two hours before class. Hope to see you soon! Namaste...

Well, as many if not most of you know, I am about to have a cutting edge medical therapy for my right knee.
